This important programme, launched by the Department of Education, supports schools in fostering a culture of kindness, respect, and inclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>B\u00ed Cine\u00e1lta<\/strong> initiative is about more than just preventing bullying \u2014 it is about <strong>building positive relationships<\/strong> across our school community. By promoting kindness and empathy, we are helping our pupils to grow into confident, caring, and responsible young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What does B\u00ed Cine\u00e1lta mean for our school?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Creating opportunities for children to learn about <strong>empathy, respect, and inclusion<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensuring that our <strong>Anti-Bullying Policy<\/strong> is clear, active, and understood by all.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Providing pupils with safe ways to <strong>report and talk about concerns<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supporting teachers and staff with training and resources.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Encouraging parents to work in partnership with us in building a safe and caring environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What does it mean for pupils?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our pupils are at the heart of the <strong>B\u00ed Cine\u00e1lta<\/strong> initiative. Through class discussions, workshops, and activities, they learn to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Recognise bullying behaviour.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Understand the importance of kindness and respect.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stand up for themselves and others in a positive way.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Know who they can talk to if they need help.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our Commitment<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At Cornanool, we believe that <strong>every child has the right to feel safe, respected, and valued<\/strong>.
